Organising
Organising
When I was awarded my first academic chair at Nyenrode Business University I focused on organisational ethics.

Inspired by Robert Jackall’s Moral Mazes I urge people to investigate the structure and practice of organisations as it influences human behaviour – for both good and bad.

The challenge is to create organisations, structures, a culture, and decision-making processes that enhance ethical policies, practices, and behaviour.

More in particular, it requires the creation of spaces in which people can have a discourse about the purpose of the organisation, its values, the way it treats humans and non-humans, and the effects it has on nature and society.
